Eva Mendes has denied telling a British newspaper that she has had sex in all 50 states.

The Sun claimed that the actress -- who is currently appearing in The Women --  confessed to having sex in every state in America.

The paper quoted her as saying, "I've had sex in all 50 states. A lot of it was on a road trip I took when I was younger."

But Mendes' rep insists the tabloid's report  is a "complete fabrication and is entirely untrue."

"In fact, Ms. Mendes wasn't even present at the event at which these comments were supposedly made. The entire thing is absurd and offensive," the rep said.
